    For some unknown reason, a friend took it upon herself to buy me a bottle of port for my birthday. I used some of it to make the Christmas trifle, but tonight I decided to try drinking it with some lemonade, which I understand is the classic accompaniment for it.

    I half-filled a tall glass with the port and topped it up with lemonade. I thought port was like wine, but guessing by my happy demeanour and the number of typos I've had to correct that's it's possibly a little stronger than the average plonk! lol

    Currently drank several Stella's Bottle of red and now on the rose wine can't wait till the Monday morning hang over!!

    A can of Fosters, which is most unlike me, as I'm an ale man really.

    But I drink too much too quickly, so sometimes buy stuff I don't like as much, simply so it'll last me longer! lol
