All depends what you want to spend and what size you are.

Go to Demon Thieves and try the seats they have in the showroom, that's what I did. :)

make sure you get the right width of seat...or you'll slop around all over the place. On the other hand, if you want to lend your car to the odd chubber then you might have to put up with a bit more ass-room. A wider seat for passengers is probably a good idea - they might want to get out in a hurry!

You need to try some out.. I had a Sparco Pro2000 for my drivers seat and an EVO2 for the passenger one (some of my mates are a bit weighty!) then got a Recaro SPG Racer which is loads better than the Pro2000 even though thats a very good fit for me.

If you're on a budget, find out what fits you then get on ebay, loot, fastroadandtrack.com, circuitdriver, bookatrack.com, etc. see if you can pick something up 2nd hand.

None of the proper 'shelled' motorsport seats are comfy

Well not after an hour anyway [:$]

Tubular framed ones (Cobra Monaco etc) are cheaper but on the ones I've sat in the tubes tend to dig in.

The Corbeau pro race is the same seat thats in my Polo G40 Cup Car, proper lightweight, that one is a carbon/kevlar. Proper tight fit, although the last 6months of living life to the full may have something to do with that [:$] .

I use a Sparco S line Circuit for my drivers seat in my Black Polo racer, and a Sparco Corse for the passengers. Good seats and pretty comfy.
