What exactly Is involved in the 'Wur' mod?

    Hi, finally got my hands on a valver (abf bottom end on Kjet), keep reading about the warm up regulator mod, can anyone tell me what exactly is involved in such a mod please? Benefits too ?

    Basically the back of the WUR is drilled and the control pressure adjusted by an Allen screw inside, to increase fuelling to suit the larger capacity 16v. Seem to remember 48psi being the sweet spot!

    (Can help to stop detonation (pinking)

    You need a particular set of gauges to do this job DIY.

    Or just go to Stealth racing... they did my mk2 about 11yrs ago

    LOL Back in the 16v days :p

    Paying around with it, with a wideband lambda sensor/gauge is DIY stuff provided you now what your aiming for :-)
