What front upper brace with 1.8t??

I want to get a strut brace for the front of the golf, the one I had wouldn't fit with the 1.8t in (fouling the charge pipe).

What have you fitted on yours?

I think eibach ones fit but are rare enough and expensive

 

im using omp one which cleard my charge pipe (bam 225) but eibach ones fit very good but as you say not easy to get an normaly ...

 

Whichever brace you use, it must be welded in solidly, or have two bolts at the end connections.

Braces which have a single bolt serve no useful purpose. The single bolt can take very little moment without slipping.

 

Thanks for the replies lads, I'll look into it a bit more but would love an Eibach job!!
