   Going to change the oil in my mk4 as I recently just bought the car. What oil does VW recommend for 1.8t mk4?

   Synthetic 5W30 - Castrol will do the trick. Either Opie Oils, Halfords or, dare I say it, Tesco to get the best price for it.
