what parts need for golf mk3 1.6CC(AFT) upgrade to 1.8?

    Is it posible to upgrade the vw golf mk3 1600cc(AFT) to 1800cc by just replace the con rod and crank shaft because the piston size for the golf mk3 1600cc is 81mm same as the 1800cc golf?Please advise!
