what passat models have the 2l 16v engine in??

hi

i know the gt has but is there any other models that definately do or don't have the 16v motor??

i know some audi's have it etc but i'm lookig for the easiest conversion poss

just trying to narrow down my searching really

More likely to find a GT with one in though, not many GLs have them.

 

don't forget the seats have the ABF lump in...mine came out of a Cordoba...

 

most of the 1988-1990 GT's will be KR 1.8's though.

 

2.0l is 1990 on

Late 1989, actually model year change is normally around October.


There's a UK passats forum, where there are usually a couple of ads for them. Going rate seems to be about 300, depending on miles, what comes with, etc.

Not sure if some SEAT's had a 9A too?

 

erm..off the top of my head im not sure..think it's Toledos, Cordobas, Ibizas...pretty sure they all had GTI versions done. Mine was a cordoba GTI which is apparently in a lower insurance group than a MK3 Golf and kept my quote down
