    I'm looking at a set of alloys to clear my recently purchased brembos that are 7x16. What size semi slicks would you guys recommend for this size wheel? The options I've come across are;

    195/50/16
    205/45/16
    205/50/16
    205/55/16
    215/45/16

    Some manufacturers only offer their tyres in one or two of those sizes, should I be more concerned about that than the size?

    195/50ZR16 84W 2G 5.0 598 200 5.50-6-7.00 F C 69 dB
    205/55ZR16 90W 2G 5.0 628 213 5.50-6.5-7.50 F B 69 dB
    215/50ZR16 90W 2G 5.0 619 228 6.00-7-7.50 F C 69 dB
    225/50ZR16 92W 2G 5.0 628 235 6.00-7-8.00 F C 69 dB

    Rim size is in bold, So for a 7" they suggest a 215. I went for 205's as it was all i could get hold of.

    Check the tyre diameter/circumference of 15s, and then find the closest match in 16s.
    195/50/15 is 572mm diameter, 205/50/15 is 584mm. Smallest 16" is the 195/50/16 at 598mm. This will still increase your gearing slightly.
