went vw at the weekend and they don't sell this part anymore???? so what car is this speedo cable off? so i can get a OME 1!!!
Well if it's the same as an 02a as in the caddy post above, then the 02a gearbox drive will fit the 02j and that being the case the mk2 1.3 cable works with the 02a gearbox drive.

yes, assuming you have 02J gearbox like thread title. you unscrew the 3 pin plug from the sender on the box, and thread the 1.3 cable on in its place. the link above is for RHD, if you're LHD then you get the LHD MK2 1.1-1.3 cable instead
