My rusty old 16v tensioner (if that's the right word) with the spiky cog thing is on its last legs. Seen these on 16v engines but don't know what it's off. Is it a straight forward swap using same alternator and belt sizes (from memory this one is the same as mine) and what's it off?

It's just a turn buckle and two rose joints
You should be able to get them online

Will give it a go. Need a bit of luck after my alternator belt destroyed itself on the way to all types today. Didn't quite make it home after bodging what was left of it.
    Cheers for your help!
