I just won some 8-13 BBS e68 on ebay. What track day rubber do you guys recomend?

Yokohama A048 175/50-13 is recomended on max 6,5-13 and the Avon 7.0/21.0-13 (195/50-13) ACB10 can be used up to 7,5-13

This is going to be fitted to my G40 squareback, so need to have a farily low overall diameter. 205/45-13 would be perfect[:^(] but are not made AFAIK

Hi ,I used to run some SB20 Michelins on my Mk1 Escort with RS500 running gear back in the early nineties, that was on 10x13 rims,I do not know if they are still availlable now?otherwise go for the Avons I have a set of the 15" ACB-10's on my track wheels ,they are superb!!

Hi,You cannot really use either the Michelin or Avon for normal road use as they have a sidewall message stating that. perhaps a Yoko or Toyo Proxy would be better?

Anyone have a clue on if the 210/510-13 here would be suitable for dry track or road in the hardest compound

Unfortunatyely, I can't run slicks on trackdays for road cars over here, as general road laws still aply. Teoretically we are not allowed to drive faster than 80 kp/h, but nobody cares......

I'm using Indy Sport tyres on my track Scirocco, amazing in the wet, don't be tempted to cut them unless there is standing water.

I use Maxsports on my Elise and they are ok, don't feel as good as the Indy's though.

Price/grip ratio is pretty good for both of them...

Unfortunately Indy and Maxsport does not have tyre suitable for 8" rim

Looks like the closest is 200/530R13 CR311 Dunlop or Kumho CO3. Not sure how these are for the road though......

I've found Toyo R888 to be great, not bad on the road in the wet until you find some standing water :o

Think Im going to have a look for a compromise, 888s are good but a pair of fronts for one day is a bit much, rears did 2 days but I dont think they do that with the banana, heavy footed I know [8(]
