Hello all, not a good post to make but I'm weighing up my options..

I have my Mk2 16v G60 (Megasquirt EFI conversion), been sat for 10 years on the drive..

What's it worth as a project for someone to resurect (needs a new gearbox which I have) vs fully running and MOT'd?.

I need the space now so I'll either get it back up to scratch and tested or get it running with new 'box supplied for a project.

Interesed in what the MK2s are fetching now, they seemed to be on the up?.

Will have a look through the forum and see if I can recognise any old friends :).

    Cheers all.

would be interested to know how the underside floor/sills/chassis legs/arches etc are after 10 years sat outside think that would be a big factor in price

Hello Trev, hows it going!, you don't fancy a nice project do you ;).

Will be working on it tomorrow so will check the floor again but it's NOT seen road salt for 10 years so should be ok..

Hello, nice to see some members I remember!.

In discussion on a place to store and work on the beast so I'm hoping to resurrect it and keep it :).

The Mitsubishi has to go though (wife never liked that car anyway!).

Had a go at starting it earlier, sounds like fuel pumps are siezed (will have to find a suitable work around) and my Megasquirt has let out some magic smoke!, so not a good start.

On the plus side the engine turns over freely, G-lader feels nice and smooth and I've made a start at least!.
