leda, but its like 1000....... but seriously are you looking for full blown track use or just road use, or something inbetween? Do you want to be able to adjust the hight or just have it a little lower? so many options out there with lots of various opinions about them. But like mk3valver sed....whats your budget?

    Welcome to the forum!

Try the search function at the top of the page...

Reams of info on suspension/chassis tweaks.

Best to use the `advanced` search, and look in the chassis section specifically.

    Enjoy!

There is a belgium company called Intrax who I have heard good things about, they do Mk1/Mk2 kits and have heard good things from people at the ring, The RS is not adjustable but the HDA kit is adjsutable and also is a proper inverted damper strut... think the RS kit will be more in your price range tho.

AVO's are very good I never hear anything bad about there abilities on road or track, but if you can get them to give you a good warrenty as they used to have a habit of leaking.

With your budget I`d get some Konis. Around 500...

...and a pair of ARBs. Should be able to source a decent pair for 250. I`ve got Neuspeeds. 22mm front/25mm rear...

...combine that with some polybushing throughout (budget around another 100)...

...and you`ll have a pretty good setup.

    Just like mine...;)

    Errmmm...

Being that they`re coilovers, as much or as little as you want...;)

Generally coilovers are adjustable between 20-120mm.

I thought some of the KW kits had dodgy adjusting rings which snapped, has all that been sorted now or was it just a one off?

what i mean is some coilovers are said to only drop about 80mm, or even as little as 60mm. unless they only say that to get through TUV regs..

You forgot one not insignificant component......tyres! ;)

If you got rubbish tyres its a waste of money doing anything to the suspension.......assuming you are after performance

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3. End of...;)

And ditch the 17s. You`ll get on a lot better with 15/16s.
