What's the policy on claiming on insurance for

    popped tyre due to having to slam brakes on because some stupid b*tch doesn't look before pulling out of a carpark on to a main throughway? [:x]

    Brakes locked and I stopped about an inch from the nose of her car. All caught on CCTV.

    If it popped then it was illegal anyway. Otherwise you'd just have a flat spot on it.

    Yup. Tyres can take alot more then a skid..

    Take the hit...Only a 100 or so for 2....I hope you do change 2...not one..:)

    wouldnt your or her excess be more than a tyre ?

    if its her fault and she admits it, get her insurance info and put in a claim

    Thinking about it. I thought tyres are not in the insurance as its classed as "wear and tear"

    You cant put a claim in for a new tyre:lol:

    you can claim for em if you smash into a kerb and rip the tyre to bits..they wont replace a none damaged worn out one

    most peoples excess is 100 upwards so why bother claiming
