What's the quickest job you've ever done on your car?

    That is the only instance of me rushing around I can remember :lol: I only do it when the mood takes me.

    Quickest big(ish) job was a gearbox in just under an hour - it was snowing and car was parked on the kerb outside - i wasn't hanging around to get cold! :lol:

    Did that on my scirocco last month, peice a ****, only took me three days :lol:

    changed mi self adjusting clutch cable for a manual one on mi mk2 golfyesterday in an hour - with me dad there to pass stuff to me.

    Any given gutter, any given day.
    Totally remodelled the bodywork including the roof in less than a second. Only tool I used was a tarmac road.

    changed the standard dv to a forge one in about 1.30

    Our Transit tech at work Matt can replace a clutch on a RWD transit in 30 mins, no sh*t !!

    i think one of my probs at the minute is that the car is not high enough off the ground. i couldnt start till one cos it was raining and then it was dark by 4

    the change on that wrc car is amazing, though [:D]

    My quickest job is front discs and pads in 20mins.

    After I wrote off my Campaign I had to strip all the parts off it I wanted (as I'm re-shelling it). Removed the engine, gearbox, exhaust, front wishbones, front brakes, front hubs, front wishbones, top mounts, front suspension, rear beam, rear brakes, handbrake cables, rear suspension and driveshafts in less than 1 hour!

    Was a case of jacking the (remains of the) body shell up in the air, un-doing about 10 bolts and dropping everything onto the floor.
