anybody know what this is under the number plate

 

forgot to ask also, does anyone know about the glass roof side of things, see below, the white one seems to have a glass front section above the windscreen, the red one doesn't, didn't know if it was part of the sunroof option, cheers

 

my guess would be the sensor for the active cruse control ?

 

Friend of mine has just taken delivery of his GT TDI and it is indeed the radar doo-hickey for the adaptive cruise control.

When you spec' the Moonroof option, the front and rear header portion of the roof is painted gloss black.....to give the illusion that the glass extends the entire area of the roof.

Yeah I think so, my Ed 30 as much as I like it could do with an update, was getting an R but there's only 1left in the uk that's my spec so looked at these, and seeing as its the same power as an Ed 30! Why not
