    I like that one.

I think I'll call it Caninurian.

Now I need to invent some pretentios sounding non specific bull**** to convince lame minded idiots that it might be true.

The "motivation" for this thread is to try and "prove" why certain people act the way they do.

What the OP fails to realise is that certain peoples' reactions are based purely on the attitudes or reactions of those they are dealing with...

Don't fret! It needs the whole screen capture to make the point. See:

    First line of the opening post says otherwise;

Regardless, if this thread decends into a screenshot-a-thon or quote-fest, it goes.

As long as it stays sensible (or as sensible as a thread about Medieval beliefs can be...) its all good.

No, it refers to plural, not "I". Simple comprehension

Has anyone already had their head felt - and is qualified to speak for the wiser on this topic?

That's the one above your shoulders :p

I was assuming that the motivation for this thread wasn't too serious & it was just a bit of fun?

It's really whatever you want it to be. Some will dial in to it, others will say it's rubbish, others will be intrigued to give it some thought - having never spent a moment to think about it.

Bits of it are true (IMO). Eg, the Geminis are "out there" and don't half know how to noise up a thread - as we've know from many an occasion Gaz!

Others are less participative, more circumspect. There are patterns...

And it's not just threads, it's more general. Listeners, non-listeners, selfless, less so. All there for observing

To be fair with something like 3 people being born every second any fairly general statement will be true for a proportion of them, if you make twelve (although scientifically it SHOULD be thirteen) generalised statements you're going to get it right quite often.

And I resent the comment about geminis noising up threads if anyone says that's true they must also believe that 16v is better than 8v & are therefore so retarded they should keep their misguided twaddle to themselves.

I joined clubgti as a golf enthusiast, so was more than surprised to find this thread, and my questioning the motivation for it is a more than valid question!
Also, looking at the tags for this thread, the cynic in me says it may be not be as innocent as it seems?!?

Anyway, if i may add my 2 pence...

You may find greater insights in looking at personality types, not the stars.

Personally, I'll leave the mystic meg hype to those whom believe it has any foundations in the physical real world we live in. Each to their own. I don't judge.

But to explain the differences between people, their communication methods and why they might "clash" it may be better to spend a moment considering the history between the subjects, their upbringing, cultural differences and as a more grounded and proven method of explaining relationships & compatibility - looking at their personality types...

Mystic meg is not the astrology being referred to here. The Russel Grant stuff is full-on garbage in my view

The thread is purely star sign date brackets and associated traits. Not whether the neighbour's pet cat is predicted to fall off a fence next week!

Various tags were added to the thread by someone originally to try to spoil the thread. Pretty sure I know who it was.

This is nothing, you have seen the random shizzle that used to be discussed in this section- shaving testicles is one that springs to mind.

G_Whizz has posted some real data gained by research and data-gathering (real science!) that explains more or less perfectly that people's traits, outlooks, communication skills, etc, are honed by their enviroment and upbringing.

Please show similar levels of data from scientific research to explain how a series of burning balls of gas trillions of light years from Earth can determine if someone is a idiot or not...
