at what sort of revs would solid lifters be needed over the std hydraulic ones.? also what duraction cam would be the max on the std ones?? many thanks Adam
its more a question of the cam profile - solid lifters will take a much more agressive acceleration than a hydraulic lifter thats why you get specific cam profiles for each type of lifter generally
