I put mine into the grilles of originals just to show them off a little more (in the photo on the right).

If I was to do it again though (which I might :)) I like them flush mounted into the A post covers (hope that makes sense), its not that difficult to do and it gives you a better sound too.

I put mines in the original dash speaker location as well. Just take that lil plastic thing out and make a an MDF slot there and put the tweeters on top of that. I dont like the way mines are because u can obviously see them sticking out your window. If your getting audioscape pods them put them on there on top of the mids thats the best place to put them. I didnt coz i dont want to ruin the pods [xx(]

If you gona put them on the dash then thats good enough...thats where ppl put it mainly.

If anyone else has any suggestion plz post some pics of them because i need some ideas as well

    thanx

Anyone got any shots of component installs in mk2s? I'm considering a set of infinity 5000cs for my 1300, and was wondering how people have mounted the woofers and tweeters, and where they put any crossover boxes they have.

    cheers

tim, if you take out the original speaker from under the dash, cut a thin mdf template the same size, then cut a hole the size of the tweeter into the wood, and fit the tweeter in that! spray the wood black and hey presto, i'll get a pic prob wont b till the weekend tho
