    Hi All,

I have a full stainless steel exhaust system from a Mk2 Golf GTi 1.8 16v and what to use it on my Mk2 Jetta 1.8 16v.

I know where I need to extend as I will need to extend the end two pipes, but my question is where will need to cut the pipes from and extend? Also how much will I have to extend?

    Cheers

    Bobby

Errr...anywhere you like, you're only extending them after all!

Offer it up to the Jetta and see where would be best in terms of seeing the "join". Personally I'd cut them off just ahead if those brackets, so you won't have to mess with them.

As to how much to extend? When its offered up measure from the tips out to the point you want them to end up (allowing for a little expansion when hot).

I think jetta has longer tail pipe section. Just google it you will see the length of the extra rear section.
