where is the best place to get a mk1 golf engine built and tuned?

    Hi there, I was wondering where is the best place in the UK to get a mk1 golf engine built and tuned up?

    JMR is in the Southwest and loves his 8vs.
    In the Southeast there is also Mark at Saxon motorsport in Kent. He builds race cars that compete in the Production GTI MK2 series.
    There is also Jamie at Jtech Performance who is another racecar builder.

    Seriously, you need to set a budget/performance envelope to get a targetted answer to your question. The uk has many, many good race engineers.

    Another vote for JMR....I live in the midlands and yet Jase is the only person I trust with the engine for my racecar!
