Where to buy Mass Air Flow Meters?

    I need to buy a new maf, lots advertised for all different prices all over the internet should I steer clear of the ebay and gsf items?

    Mike,

    I brought a new MAF from GSF for my missus 1.8T a while back. They do two different quality otems...1 being a cheap copy from China and the second being an OE Bosch item which is on an exchange basis, with CGTI discount it wasn't that expensive either! [:D]

    I bought a cheap as poop one for my Alfa from ebay - 20 posted as opposed to 120 from the GSF equivalent. Works perfectly thus far.

    What car is it for?? VW prices for MK4's are pretty good, if not try a Bosch dealer

    yes vw are good on price for this i got one for a tdi last year and was 70 new
    not extange
    and that was cheaper than the local bosch dealer at the time
    and i got some new injectors for my mk2 today
    and thay where cheaper at vw to
    i then asked for discount for it being a older car and got 10% discount as well
    so it pays to ask

    Yep - should be 50 + vat from VW if you get a decent discount... (retail is 68)

    You want the part number above with an X at the end for eXchange.

    Popped into Bristol heritage vw dealers today and got quoted 110!
