if you get a clifford make sure it is the 650P as ultasonics are absolutely no good for your car

you should only pay 380 for the 650P

    i've a toad ai606 alarm.

total closure with one button, another button to put just windows up without locking it and another button for popping solenoid in the bootlid - great fun [:D]

you can disable the ultrasonics on it and add other mosules like dual zone perimiter protection n stuff that may be more suitable for a cab?

Cliffords suck, far too complicated for their own good [:x] [8(]

I only put a 600 in mine as it cost me 50

Clifford C650 is highely recommended by us. We are authorised dealers for all major alarm makes but on our own vehicles we only install alarms by clifford. Clifford c650 with blackjax & prox sensor is currently on special offer for 325.

Also very popular is the new viper 2way LCD pager system (clifford's older brother) which is also cat 1. This is available for 350 fitted (RRP 479).

i have toad a1606 with micro sensors on my cab, never had false alarm, nice and easy to use 1 button locks other button unlocks. u def need microwave sensors, so u can alarm car wiv roof down, and u get a beep to warn people.
    TIP:
if in doubt if ur prox work or not just set the alarm and set wipers on intermittent, and it should beep away when wipers move. also saves u looking an idiot walking upto car waving hands about to set it off.!!!!!!!

Just had at 650 installed in my mk3. 360 all in. Seems to be pretty good. The omnisensor thing is a bit annoying though and it spends more time off than on.

They also had the Viper for 299 fitted but apparently it has a visible sensor and the remote is almost as big as my phone....
