    BEST battery- Optima red top

    Overheating:

Have you checked if the thermostat is not stuck?
Also have you topped up your coolant?
Do you have any coolant leaks?
Is you radiator fan coming on?

Optima red top sounds great... i have heard good things about them but i am also running an amp and some ice.. would this still be sufficient?

With the overheating, i have checked the fan IS coming on, topped up the coolant, NO coolant leaks. i have not checked if the thermo is stuck or not, as i dont actually know where it is??

Any diagrams would be really helpful...

    Thanks G60

If they're better to use than Bosch then you'll be fine, I have a bosch one with an amp and a little ICE and it's not been an issue.

With the over heating when the car comes up to normal temperature check to see if the bottom rad hose is getting hot, as far as i know if the thermostat is working correctly when it opens the top and bottom hoses should be around the same temperature.
