I am hoping to turbo a KR, i have 2x9A engines, 1xKR engine and S2 pistons and S2 rods.

which combination of crank/rod/pistons will give the best CR?

i know the S2 pistons are used, but with which rods/crank? this will go into the KR block.

i have searched this and maybe missed it, but didnt find an answer.

9A crank, KR rods and S2 pistons, what CR would i get roughly? (if it would work at all!)

KR crank, rods and S2 pistons, what would i get roughly?

would you recommend soucing different rods? 2E for example?

    many thanks in anticipation

    Rick

i'm sure the s2 rod's are the same size as the kr one's but don't hold me to that.

    S2 rods = KR rods.
S2 81mm pistons would suit KR bore but with lower CR, ideal for a turbo or supercharged application.
    9A is a 1984cc engine with 82.5mm pistons.
2E rods for a tall block i.e. ABF, 2E with 21mm piston pin and are not suitable to you.
