HI, i have a golf mk3 1995, EUROPE model 5door right hand drive petrol alloy rocker cover engine but dont know which code it is for spares! how and where can i find out which engine code it is? i thought it was a AEE or SPI but now ?????? need to find why its taking so long to start now its cold thanks. OH and NO i dont have a british log book with engine No.
or if you're lucky its on a big white barcode on top of the timing belt cover. I assume its a 2.0 8v since you mention it has an alloy rocker cover, it could be 2e, AGG or ADY. a picture of the engine could help
