Which Exhaust for a mk2 1.8t golf??

As above i have a fully running mk2 1.8t that has a 2.5" qpeng downpipe but the 2" magnex exhaust is slightly too short and the wrong bore.

i had a look at getting a custom powerflow exhaust but i wasnt impressed with the Y shaped tailpipes and the only other 2.5" exhaust i can find is the jetex for a 16v but im not sure if this will also be a bit too short.

Just wondered what everyone else used?

 

jetex is fine, im running the 16v version on my qpeng downpipe.

as long as you haven't tried cutting the qpeng downpipe down to size yet, the jetex system comes with a straight through which is long enough but obviously one will need cutting to get the right length to fit.

 

Ok thanks, i bought the downpipe 2nd hand so im guessing its been cut.

Try Trackslag in the trade section

 

Heard good things about the trackslag ones... I have a jetex myself as the trackslag ones weren't around when I bought it!

 

Jetex 2.5 in cold end would be fine or trackslag.
