    A would prefer the dipped headrest recaros but beggars cant be choosers :)

    Good idea!!! I planned to do that ages ago but went for a mk3 trim instead.

    What do you recon the seats are worth? The passenger side air bag bit has gone off as you can just about see.

    They look pretty dirty for a few year old car. Am sure you'd be able to get ones in better condition from a decent scrappys. I wouldn't pay over 150 for those. Would go for leather ones instead or at least the red/black GTI ones.

    Has anyone ever tried to put 3 series Beemer seats in? Dash goes in quite easily, was just wondering if the rear bench etc. would need a lot of work.

    Shouldn't make any difference, same seats, just different door cards

    mkIV seats are more comfy, but...they'll double the weight of the car, and i'm not sure they'll physically fit in without the headrest touching the roof ;) :lol:

    they aren't so nice in that colour scheme, and don't seem to go for much on ebay either. the nicer tdi ones are the fully grey ones (but with kin of pin stripe centres)...i had a set that were gonna go in my mkIII but then couldn't be bothered and got mkIII cloth recaros instead [:D]
