Any ideas whats gonna cause white smoke from a VR6? A mate at work wants to sell a 1993 Golf VR6 in which the exhaust has fallen off and at the same time started to generate whats been described as white smoke..... Also he said its got an old leak; he knows nothing about cars. Suggestions on price also appriciated, Its completely original, no history but his brother had it from new
if its only when cold then maybe nothing, when warm it could be headgasket,could also be that the exhaust is bad so if you can get it cheap the maybe you should buy it,if you can do alittle your self. Regards RIX
