I'm looking for someone who can build up my 16v race spec engine. I could probably do it myself if I put my mind to it but after spending a lot on all the right parts I'd rather find someone with prior experience/knowledge of such builds. I have most of the parts ready to assemble Inc all new gaskets, fittings, etc and machined/lightened/balanced parts by Hotgolf.. Brief spec as follows..

9A bottom end bored out to accept wossners
    knife edged/balanced crank
    lightended intermediate shaft
    wossner high compression forged pistons
    INA H beam rods
    ARP head studs
    All new bearings, etc
    New baffled sump
    Neuspeed windage tray
    (need exhaust manifold)

    ABF cylinder head
    Ported & polished
Injector ports tig welded up for ITB's
    3 angle valve job
Machined for clearance of high comp pistons
    New hydraulic lifters & valves
    Newman 272 cams
(unsure at this stage whether to use these cams or go for something wilder with solid lifters.. Engine is going into a wide tracked Mk1 Golf track car)

    New 45mm throttle bodies
    (need inlet manifold)

Omex engine management system & wiring loom

.. I'm based in Lancashire so someone local would be ideal but I'm open to suggestions. Anyone recommend someone who can make a good job of building this sort of thing? A bit of cash for the new year!! ;)

    Thanks

I would recommend Mr Hillclimber....but then I am biased as he's building me an 8V currently ;)

Thanks for all the replies. I've spoken to Jason now and had a good chat.. nice guy. I hope to get it on with in the new year but probably going to go with a solid lifter head and wilder cams to his spec.

Out of interest what would the labour costs be on a build like this?
