The wifes insurace is due, previouly shes been on a modded policy as all the other cars have been lowered, new rims, etc and not worth masses (7k or so..) however the new daily whip is a little different, its a stock car (bar the optional accessory spoiler when it finally arrives!) but does come fully loaded with factory fitted optional extras, and is worth a fair bit more (20k).. so are any of the specialists worth a look? (the cars a seat exeo st sport 170tdi... so basically a audi A4 S line) as im not sure if I trust the main stream people to give a sensible quote, or if they would quibble about the spoiler (plus at some point next spring I want some new summer rims for it)

Brentacres renewal is pretty sensible compared to a quote the wife did on confused.com at just over 400 full comp.

I have filled out greenlights form on line so I wait to see what they come back with (normally pretty good),

HIC were no good, as they have great rates for VW's but their Seat stable mates they are pants on coming out at 800!

who else is worth a shot?

If standard the usual suspects; Tesco, Admiral, Elephant. Moneysupermarket.com is your friend.

My mum's with Swift cover and they were cheap on her Volvo C30 and I think that was a 15k car.

I just bought a brand new tt this year.
audi gave me 7days free insurance. When the 7 days were due to expire they called me up and gave me a great rate (after haggling). They also have a unique feature of giving you a new car if you have a total loss in the first year. After spending 36k it was a nice assurance
audi insure is run by VAG finance, im sure there must be a Seat version

going to try seat insurance, but dont hold much hope, when we got the car we took thier 7 day free cover, and at the time they did a quote for when its renewed and it was a joke.

the main stream guys are giving mad quotes! avaiva is 550, direct line just shy of 700! Fux and HIC are 800+ cheapest is "yes insurance" at 422 with legal cover, but the excess is higher again..plus I am not sure i would trust a un known company should it all go wrong for the sake of a couple of quid..

Bridle are close at 479 but the excess is alot more at 375..

looks like we might be going back to brentacre, unless greenlight come through today for us..
