Will an 8v ISV work on a 16v??urgent

    Which 16v? Not if it's a KR on Kjet.

    Having a guess that you're trying to fix a Mk2 Golf with a KR lump in it, check that all the wires are ok to the temp senders on the gearbox end of the head. There's one of them that feeds the ISV. If your ISV has stopped buzzing, it might be the cause. I can't remember which one though.

    thanks for the replies.
    I don't know what kinda 16v it is.
    I was selling my PB 8v ISV to a guy until he told me it was going in his 16v.

    So would it work on some 16v's?
    oh- im talking mk2 here.
