    Hi guys, just a quicky.

Will the front shocks out of a gti turbo fit on to a 4 motion?

Theres a gti for sale local which Im looking at for the engine and maybe a couple of other bits, but the front shocks on my 4 motion have a little bit of misting (picked up on the last mot) so thought Id swop them over if the ones on the gti are in good nick (although the cars done 215k miles so dont know how good theyll be, but as long as they get me through the mot Im happy).

No ...anti roll bar brackets are not the same ...then again the anti roll bar on the gti mounts to the bottom arm not the link to the shock
so maybe ...would need it in front on me [:s]

Aye the arb link bolts on to the shocker

See if you can find r32 front shocks
You often see both springs and shocks on the owners club and eBay
It's a good upgraded as is the anti roll bars

Yeah I'd like to do the R32 upgrade and I keep my eyes peeled for them coming up so hopefully some will come up soon :)

The guy with the gti hasn't got back to me in a few days so looks like that's out the window anyway ;)
