as titled, just collecting bits for a conversion.

Currently I have an ABF in the car running off a digi 8V fuel pump.

will this run an R32? if not, what do you recommend? and is it a direct fit (electrical connectors and brackets)?

you would be better of swapping to the mk3 vr setup, i believe the obd1 are better than the later obd2 setup

you would need the whole mk3 vr setup including tank, pump, fuel filter and fuel lines

am I right in saying the 8V digi runs at 3 bar and the R32 runs at 4+ bar?

can I use a KR pump in place of the 8V? is it a direct fit?

The VR6 fuel system has more flow capactiy at 3 or 4 bar.

On turbo or supercharged engines, a VR6 pump has no problem to supply the fuel, regardless if your system is regulated by a 4bar or 3bar fuel pump.

On ABF engine'd cars with a SEM, I can almost max out the injectors if using a digifant 2 fuel supply at certain lambdas.

You can use any K-jet pump as an alternative yes.

and the lift pump is the same across all mk2's?

I'm guessing I have to get the KR fuel pump assembly and remove the accumulator? or will the KR pump fit in the 8V digi housing?
