hi, some 15" 2nd hand alloys have been advertised as having 4 stud vauxhall settings. I would like to know if they will fit a VW Golf mk2 1991? thanks for your replies in advance
thanks for your quick reply!! i need to know before 2moro . I think they are fox evo 2 alloys (5 spoke)will this make a difference?
what do you mean 4x100s? and ET35.... this is the full description: FOX 15" 4 STUD ALLOYS VAUXHALL STUD SETTINGS 195/55X15. what is the likelihood of them fitting??? its a 3 hr trip to pick them up
Highly likely they'll fit. 4x100 is the distance between bolt/stud holes and ET is the distance they will stand off the hub.
cheers for your fast help - guess ill find out tomorow if they will fit or not. Really hope they do..they should make a big improvement over the 13" hub capped wheels
Well I'm after a set of Mille Migia Spiders that have come off a Nova and they fit, so you should be OK. Happy Hunting.
The Vaux offset is normally about 42mm. Just means yours wheels will sit further into the arches than say an 35mm offset.
anyone knows of any second hand bbs going please let me know; i am riding on pirelli p's and one is buckled [:^(]
just a little warning for you the std vaux offset is 49mm that means they will sit 14mm further in to your wheel arch - so they may rub on the inner arch also you may need to check about the centre bore of the wheels - i bought some the other day that were 4x100 but too small centre bore (guy i bought them off gave me a refund as he is a top bloke and it was an honest mistake) renault fitment fit ok...
if the hub diameter is smaller than the wheels then you will have to get the plastic adapter rings that fit in the wheels to mate them up to your wheels or no matter how you try the wheel will not sir right on the hub and give you the effect of poor wheel balance.also if your mk2 is lowered i would run on 195 50 15 tyres to help clearance and keep your speedo more accurate
