Id assume that the pinout is the same as the other coilpacks and i don't think that it wouldn't work. What is it out from?

its a customer loom, the only potential issue i can see is the resistor thingy or whatever is missing from the loom tails

The suppressor? Is not an issue John, it only costs a fiver from pug spares. I've got the part number if you want it let me know. The pug/citroen coils are going for 30quid in the bay for a new unit so maybe your customer can spend that and be sure and done with it

What does the suppressor do, is it needed?

Not all coil packs are noisy to warrant a suppressor/capacitor ;)

The coil pack is from a Z16SE Vauxhall 8v engine.
My suggestion, as I removed it from my PC would be to look at Autodata for a 2003 Corsa, Combo, Astra.
You will see the wiring schematic for this unit in there.

That diagram suggests there is a powerstage in the coil pack. I would have thought the image in post 1 does not have a powerstage.

No further information required based on what brutalmk2_16v posted.

The coil pack has internal ignitors. So you need to ensure that the ECU that you are integrating the loom for has not been set up to run an external powerstage.
