window problem mk4 golf

hi the passenger window on my mk4 golf goes down ok then on the way back it goes down again automatically.then i will begin to put it back and at half way it starts to struggle help as its getting on my t*ts

 

among the common mk4 problems most likely

how olds the car?, if on a 01 plate or newer, take it to Vag who'll sort out the regulator for you under warranty

 

its an s plate could i still get it done. so its the regulator thats gone yea and thats in the door could a replace it myself

 

you prob wont get it under warranty, but check anyway

yes you can get parts and do job yourself

 

Repair kits are about 33 or complete new window reg about 70.
