id ease the rubber over the lip with a large screwdriver or something

hoofing it with your feet will cause any chips to spread and crack

or cut the rubber and get a scrapyard rubber to replace it

cutting the rubber is the only way to be sure not to break it, they're very fragile!

as above, only sure way is to slice the rubber with a sharp stanley knife.

if you fancy doing it the hard way then get an assistant (sitting in the passenger's seat) to apply firm and steady pressure to the top right of the screen from the inside whilst you gently manouver the rubber seal over the metal lip with a large screwdriver. Gradually move rightwards across the top of the screen. Your assistant should need to apply less and less pressure as you go (common sense required)

once the top is out then press the sides out and lift free of the wipers.

reverse is done using a piece of string and silicon lubricant

not a job to be lightly undertaken as chances of a breakage are fair to middling, especially is its a first attempt.

whilst you're there make sure to do a good job as I did this work only two years ago and the rust is back :-(
