winodw sealant?

    Hi just wondering what sealant the guys at auto windscreens use? I have a leaky rear quarter seal, I know they dont use Silicon anyways, cheers

    Should you be using sealant on that ?
    Was it a new seal which is on it as that would cause a leak if it wasn`t and make sure it is fitted right also.I had similar problem which was sorted by doing this.

    Cheers the problem was it was rotten underneath on the lip slightly, therefore I built it up with Fibre glass, and refitted. I can't justify spending nearly fourty quid for a new seal as a result so I got one from a scrappy so it really needs a sealant, cheers

    look out for silkoflex sealant it is what they use to fit bonded windows in to cars
