    Hi guys

I have the issue of some corrosion around the wiper arm blank on my mk2, can anyone advise as to how you remove it? I can't see a way as yet.

    Thanks

You need to push the middle out from underneath then bottom section will come out, be very careful as it will probably break

Oh I see, does the blank itself push in like a trim clip to the housing underneath?

Basically yes - I use a small hex bit to fit inside the underneath then use a lever to push against it last time I used a wall paper scraper to push against the hex bit :)

You have to very carefully push the centre spike bit up and out , it's a pain because of the angles [:x]
But doable as I've got two out without breaking them [:D]
