hi i was wondering how to wire a horn in my 1.4 mk3 golf

ive replaced the steering wheel to a mk2 polo steering wheel but the horn section is worn and the horn constantly goes off if its wired to that as i found that out when it was in my mk2

i'm just unsure how to wire a push button to the horn

    thanks

If you locate the wire coming up to the original horn contact then put that to one side of a switch and the other side of the switch to activate the horn.

You can test the original horn wire by just touching it to earth to check it is actually working.

Or you could just go for the sensible option and repair the mechanism in the wheel. You'll have to disable it anyway if it's always on.

    Its not...

Look up the CE2 Fusebox FAQ. Should tell you where the feed comes from the fusebox.
