wiring loom change

Hi, im new on here so not sure how it works. iv got a mk2 golf driver and the wiring loom needs changing. iv found a loom off a mk2 golf gti 8 valve but not sure if it will fit. if anyone could help me i would be gratefull. thanks

As above you'll need that information to work out which of the two loom types both are CE1 or CE2. CE2 is hazard a'top the ignition housing, but that might not help you much with the removed loom.
