    Ever wondered how to work out pcd? well i have when buying alloys second hand from muppets who cant tell you any way this is what i stumbled across

    How to calculate the Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD)

    Measure the distance between the centres of two adjacent holes S and then complete the following equation.

    Due to the accuracy of measuring it may be necessary to round to the nearest available PDC measurement.

    EXAMPLE

    0.7071 is the constant factor for four stud

    if S= 71mm

    PCD = 71 0.7071 = 100.41 = 100mm

    EXAMPLE
    0.5878 is the five stud contant factor.

    if S= 97mm

    PCD = 97 0.5878 = 165.02 = 165.1mm

    S can be measured in metric or imperial. Imperial measurement must be a decimal. It may be easier to measure S in millimetres and try a conversion to imperial to see if you have a metric or imperial PCD.

    Imperial to Metric common PCD measurements:

    4 = 101.6mm

    5.5 = 139.7mm

    6 = 152.4mm

    Nice find!
    Tho only needed on 3, 5 or 6 stud wheels, on 4 stud you can just measure 2 bolts that are opposite to each other :)

    Buy a pcd tool for a tenner like I did. Slidey bit of plastic and quicker than working it out.
