written off during a service

    here's the pics of my valver after it went for a service...
    the mechanic took it round the block to test the work and some
    silly old woman pulled out infront of it.
    testicles.

    had a really nice chrome trimmed thin slat grill and chrome trim
    bumpers...

    That is nasty, at least you wern't driving so some other c**t probably has whiplash. Looked a well nice car previous to what sounds like a women not understanding how to drive. Are u breaking it, or just keeping insurance money?

    Was he trying to see what the top speed of your car was or what? Looks like it was going some when it crashed.

    thanks, it was really minimal looking with gl bumpers and no gti 16v
    badges on but went like the clappers...
    'still havnt found a replacement - thinking about a mk2 gtd or wandrin
    off to an audi 80 tdi - got a lot of miles to do.

    dunno what the silly bids car looked like, i wanted to go and give her a
    slap though!

    wouldnt have made any diff though.

    going to look at a silver 8v mk2 tomorrow...

    ...after looking at the silver 8v:
    what a piece of crap that was, i'd asked the bloke what sort of
    condition it was in and he said it was really clean with hardly
    any rust, so i went up to basingstoke for a look...
    i think the car must had been left under a tree or on a farm
    somewhere, they had a 'tried' to clean the car but missed green
    stuff in the water grooves by the boot lid and under the front
    bumper... also there was a massive rust hole on the rear
    passenger side seam along with loads of bubbles all over the
    boot... sod that.
    the quest continues, and i still aint got any for mi dead car [:^(]
