xbox problems

my xbox seems to be thinking that all my games are dvd's and it comes up saying: 'to play this disc put it in an xbox 360 console'' anyone had the same problems? if i eject the game and put it back in several amounts of times it will eventually work! any ideas?

 

it also scores a ring all the way around the disc

 

Could be dvd drive on its way out mate.....gonna cost if you send it to Micro$oft

 

I found that standind the 360 up on the side it scores the disc. I just lay it flat now. I would call 360 tech line for that problem. They might be able to do a reset on the system.
