ok the guy on ebay is telling me that this will head will fit without and mods.

the head is here and is an AKL engine code

sure everything attached to the head wont fit and the serious lack of the water outlet on the front of the pb head.

would it be a serious amount of work to make it fit?

the head will meet up to an earlier block, but you will need to use a metal head gasket and 2 of the head bolt holes need to be enlarged, but i do think Matt has already done this as he modified mine to fit!

obviously your inlet isnt going to fit, you will need to run it on carbs or TBs, but the exhaust manifold does fit,

    hope this helps

I'm currently thinking about cross flow, is there absolutly no way you can make it run on k-jet?

what do you think is the problem with the water system? the head/block water ways and oil ways all line up, or do you mean pipework for the rad?

bet you could, just need to bodge the k-jet throttle body onto the existing manifold
