I'm lookin to buy some A032R's for my car in supersoft.

Has anybody had first hand experience or any feedback on these tyres? eg. grip , longivity , noise etc.

They will be usedfor occational roadbut mainlytrack use.

    Many thanks

Excellent grip, very low life - especially if in supersoft, not as noisy as Maxsports RB5's.

    R888's are cheaper I believe.

I have used a set on the track, what a difference comepared to "road " tyres!

I got mine cheap of a mate who got the wrong size!!

But if i was buying new i try the Toyo R888's

What do you want them in supersoft anyhow?

If your not using the car for motorsport you won't need a superspoft compound?

Don't count out the Maxsports either. Cheap for track tyres, but the quality has varied over the last year - hopefully they've sorted it out by now.

    here I think...!

Hi , thanks for the reponse chaps, I had previously a set of colway in supersoft compound which were very good for the use it was getting. So it would be silly to get anything in a hard compound for the use it gets

So R888's are supposed to be good?

I was chatting to a guy at the 'ring with a caged up 306, he was running A048s as he said the R888 didn't last 5 mins.

I run A048 on my Golf, pleased with them, except the price [xx(]

I put my set on back in March and have done 7 sprints and two trackdays and still have enough tread for half of next year. I dont use the car on the road.
