    i have a 4 stud mk3 1.8 golf, drums on the rear.

    a) what set-up would you suggest sticking on the car (ive heard about ibiza cupra items)

    b) what parts would i need to complete the conversion on front AND to convert the rears to discs

Do you know what size discs you have up front? 256mm? If not G60 should be a good upgrade front wise for 280mm. But then not sure if you could actually then use a mk2 gti's rear disks on a mk3 or if they would be big/powerful enough for the heavier mk3

id say for the sake of the wheels, id be tempted to just go over to 5 stud and fit mk3 items etc.

    would be easier

i was looking at a set of g60 ones and am looking for a min upgrade of around 280mm, dont know the size of the front discs. the backs i have no idea about

i havent got that much money and ive already bought a set of wheels which took me ages to find for the right price, i think if id have to go through that again then id go clinically insane with ebay goggles! so i think this may be a last resort.

ive heard the seat ibiza cupra items are 4 stud and will fit but dont know the parts i need for the front upgrade and rear conversion??? any ideas

why not save your money, upgrade the fronts to g60 and get the drums working properly as rear disc upgrades aren't really a must as the front brakes do the majority of braking
