    We had this one on our stand at Stanford Hall show a couple of years ago. It's an original P-reg (when P was at the end, not at the beginning) and has only 30K miles on the clock.

    Rajan now trailers it around as it's too precious to put more miles on.

    Goodness knows what its value is.

    Saw this one in the Autostadt in Wolfsburg - it only has 250 km on the clock.

    So they do exist, but guess not for sale!

    my barbers got a mk1 v reg 5dr 1.3 with 35k on the clock iirc, 1 owner from new and he got it for 1500!!!! the old boy who owned it died, his wife kept it in the garage for 2 years and then he brought it from her

    I've had it since 2003, but really only hit the digital camera / scanner thing in the last year and a half, so that's partly why.

    As for who parts with them, I guess it just depends often on circumstances/space/lack of use/too many cars.
