lol at Sparrow.. I wish! Lucas oil treatment in various cars , plus relay-ing the Corrado headlights , and TT bushes in the Corrado wishbones.
Converting my caddy to run on twin webers. Ran like *****, but had my first successful rolling road experience and despite its constant problems its so much fun to drive! *still does
As I read peoples replies , I keep changing my mind.... Fave mod was definitely converting my rallycar from a cast iron 8v single cam on a plenham , to an all alloy 16v DOHC on 'bike T/Bs that I made up the mani for myself. apologies for the non VAG content.....
Unfortunately for the VW 16v lads, that is a 1.4 that whips your larger engines. (not all, but a lot of them)
Fav mod on other peoples cars is either 1.6 Driver to ABF conversion I did for a fellow Mk2 fan as it was a neater finished product (helps when you have a whole donor car to select bits from), or the Toyotec Toyota ITBs.
Vid title does say first fire up, still needs mapping. Dyno sheet looked pretty good for a home-brew 1.4 though. Plus the KA is about the weight of a discarded fag packet, so that's always a bonus.
Yes Indeed Dan , richer than a really rich , rich thing , no trumpets , and a dodgy TPS! after mapping... 148 bhp! From stuff scattered around the shed . Surprisingly , they're NOT actually that light!
Snapped the electrical pole/threaded stud off on a fuel stop solenoid??? Then you need a curtain hook my friend... Brought to you by 'twist and tape' electrical services
